Dr. Krithi K. Karanth, a former post-doctoral research scientist in the DeFries Lab, has been selected by The World Economic Forum (WEF) as a 2015 Young Global Leader (YGL). This prestigious honor recognizes her as one of the 187 distinguished leaders below the age of 40 from around the world. Krithi has been working to understand and find solutions to human-wildlife conflicts.
